Mrs. Marieta Locsin Ledesma, one of the founders of the school, believed that quality education would give a chance for a better life to the children of farm workers.

St. Francis of Assisi School is a private Catholic institution established in 1964 with a vision to provide quality Christian education to the children of farm workers.

Located in a 5 hectare campus just outside Silay City, Neg. Occ. (Philippines), the school facilities include a library, chapel, computer room, covered court and recreation field.

The school provides kindergarten to high school education for approximately 370 students.

Under the supervision of the La Salle Christian Brothers, St. Francis of Assisi School has grown into a leading institution in the city of Silay.
